Junction City Information & Highlights

This town was named by a railroad business man named Ben Holladay. He was responsible for deciding that this town would be where the rail line on the east side of the river would meet the rail line on the west side.

This town got most of its publicity when a number of local men posed in the nude for "The Men of Long Torn Grange Calender. It helped raise $225k for the local school district.

As of the last census this town has 4,721 people, 1,823 households and 1,170 families. There are 1,921 households at an average density of 1,385 per square mile.
