Property Description

An outdoor lover's dream, hidden in the SW Hills. Step off the back of the property onto trails that connect into the SW Hills trail network, miles of forest running and hiking that reach all the way to Forest Park. Then come home to 1.32 private, wooded acres with a creek along the side of the property, all less than four miles from downtown Portland. The back patio is built for entertaining, and the sunsets are the show. Nike and Beaverton are an easy drive west, the city is just over the hill, and none of it reaches you here.Serious gardeners will notice the details: water spigots placed across the property and compost bays already built. Start this spring and grow one of the best gardens in Portland. The 1941 Colonial was restored with care, keeping its historic character while everything behind the walls is new: plumbing, water and sewer lines, electrical, insulation, and a luxurious primary suite. Natural light fills the great room, with its own bar and French doors out to the patio. Cook on the gas range, pour from the kitchen wet bar, and spend the rainy months between two wood-burning fireplaces.A circular drive, attached two-car garage and extra parking sit well back from the road, so every arrival feels like coming home to your own retreat. On Sunday mornings, the Hillsdale Farmers Market is five minutes away. Three bedrooms, 3,222 square feet, and a kind of quiet that is almost impossible to find this close to the city.
