I'm a glass-half-full person who finds that real estate fulfills my need to not only help people but to negotiate the ever-changing dynamics and diverse challenges of an industry that deeply touches families' lives.
We traveled west from Texas on our own Oregon Trail to a job and lifestyle that better suited our needs. Our young kids thrived in the intimate neighborhood we chose to live in and we have thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful pocket of life in the Pacific Northwest.
For over 25 years in both Texas and Oregon, I worked as a teacher in public and private school settings. I taught Prekindergarten through 3rd grade plus one year as a 7th grade Language Arts teacher. These years were rewarding, absolutely fun, and dare I say intoxicating with the love I felt for and from my students. It is hard to convey the profound effect teaching has on a person. When I see these kids growing up I am honored to have known them.
It was easy to translate the skills I learned as a teacher to the ones I use as a real estate agent. These careers are more alike than you think. the biggest difference is the age of the client. :-)
You'll find I am a strong communicator not afraid to ask or answer the difficult questions that arise when making a big decision like selling or purchasing a property. No one likes guesswork, so my attention to the detail of your transaction means you will constantly be kept in the loop.
For every part of the transaction, you will be working exclusively with me. This is advantageous for both of us, as there will be no troop of secondary individuals you'll need to go through to get me on the phone. I will be your go-to person every step of the way.
I love what I do and it shows in my relationships I build with my clients, colleagues, and valued contractors. If you are interested in listing your home or purchasing a new one, please give me a call. I'd love to help you.
